Melamine is an organic compound having a uniform structure. It is mainly used as a raw material for the production of melamine-formaldehyde resin (MF).
The melamine resin has the functions of waterproofing, heat prevention, arc resistance, anti-aging and flame retardancy. Melamine formaldehyde resin has good gloss and mechanical strength.
It is widely used in wood, plastic, paint, paper, textile, leather, electrical and other industries.
Physical Property:
Melamine moulding compound in powder form are based on melamine-formaldehyde resins fortified with high-class celluloses reinforcement and further modified with minor amounts of special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants.

Applications:
1. Decorative board: It has the characteristics of beautiful decoration, durability, heat resistance and pollution resistance.
2. Plastic: Melamine-formaldehyde resin is mixed with filler and can be used to squeeze tableware, buttons, mechanical parts, etc. It has high strength, non-toxic, heat-resistant and high gloss.
3. Coating: Alcohol etherification as a high temperature thermosetting coating, solid powder crosslinker. These coatings can be used as topcoats for construction, bridges, automobiles, machinery, furniture and household appliances, with bright color, strong adhesion and high hardness.
4. Textiles: Melamine formaldehyde resin is used as a treatment agent for textile fibers to impart anti-shrinkage, anti-wrinkle and anti-enzyme properties.
5. Papermaking: Melamine formaldehyde resin is used in paper processing and sizing agent to make paper anti-wrinkle, moisture-proof and high hardness. In addition to the above purposes, melamine is also used in cement water reducing agents, adhesives, leather emollients and the like.
