Is Melamine Tableware Safe?

The leakage of melamine is considered to be very small---an estimated 250 times lower than the level of melamine the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) considers to be toxic. 

In all, the FDA has determined that it is safe to use plastic tableware, including melamine tableware.

Physical Property:

Melamine moulding compound in powder form are based on melamine-formaldehyde resins fortified with high-class celluloses reinforcement and further modified with minor amounts of special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants.
