In October, the domestic melamine market started a new round of price increases, and prices continued to hit new highs during the year. At present, the actual ex-factory price of new orders has risen to approximately US$2682-3024/ton, and the high-end price has exceeded US$3,100/ton, which is mainly affected by two factors.
1. Export demand is spurred, and raw material prices remain high. Foreign supply gaps continue to exist, rigid demand still exists, and domestic prices remain high.

More importantly, the market price of methanol has skyrocketed, rising by nearly 45% within two weeks. This will inevitably lead to an increase in the production cost of melamine molding powder.
